Bitcoin Policy Institute

The primary goal of BPI is to provide a sound intellectual foundation for Bitcoin policy, ensuring that the technology is understood as a tool for financial freedom, innovation, and national security.

Individuals can participate by reading BPI's research publications, attending the Bitcoin Policy Summit, or contributing as a donor or research fellow to support their mission in Washington and beyond.

BPI distinguishes itself by its strict focus on Bitcoin as a unique asset class separate from 'crypto,' and its non-partisan, research-first approach rather than traditional industry lobbying.

As a research institution, BPI maintains security through editorial and research independence. It is funded by various charitable grants and donations, ensuring no single entity controls its findings.

Risks include the potential for regulatory pushback against Bitcoin in general or shifts in the political landscape that could affect the adoption of the institute's policy recommendations.
