Reservoir implements a multi-layered risk control framework, including the Credit Enforcer and Peg Stability Module, to ensure liquidity and solvency. The protocol also provides on-chain 'Proof of Reserves' through a transparent balance sheet, allowing all collateral assets to be publicly verified.

Reservoir: Project Guide | Latest Updates, Presale & Airdrop

Q: What is the Purpose of Reservoir?

Reservoir aims to provide a decentralized, scalable, and efficient stablecoin protocol that offers yield-bearing stable assets backed by a diversified pool of digital and real-world assets.

Q: How Can I Participate in Reservoir's Ecosystem?

Users can participate by minting stablecoins like rUSD, srUSD, and trUSD by depositing approved assets into the protocol. Additionally, they can engage in the permissionless lending market to borrow and lend against stablecoins and collateral assets.

Q: What Sets Reservoir Apart from Competitors?

Reservoir differentiates itself through its integration of real-world assets, providing consistent yields and scalability. Its suite of products and focus on less volatile, high-quality assets offer better and more consistent yields compared to other stablecoin protocols.

Q: What are the Risks Associated with Reservoir?

Potential risks include balancing decentralization with governance efficiency, complexities in compliance and auditing due to real-world asset integration, and intense competition in the stablecoin market. Reservoir addresses these challenges through its protocol design and risk management mechanisms.

What is Reservoir?

Reservoir is a decentralized stablecoin protocol built on Ethereum, designed to deliver scalable, accessible, and yield-generating stable assets. It issues rUSD, a next-generation stablecoin backed by a diversified pool of digital and real-world assets, alongside srUSD, a liquid yield-bearing asset, and trUSD, a term-based yield-bearing asset. Reservoir also features a permissionless lending market, enabling users to borrow and lend against stablecoins and collateral assets.

How Does Reservoir Work?

Reservoir operates as a permissionless protocol on Ethereum, integrating with top-tier networks to offer stablecoins like rUSD, srUSD, and trUSD. Users can mint these stablecoins by depositing approved assets, which are then allocated into high-quality real-world and digital assets to generate yield. The protocol ensures liquidity and solvency through its Credit Enforcer and Peg Stability Module, maintaining a 1:1 peg to the U.S. dollar.

What Makes Reservoir Unique?

Reservoir stands out due to its integration of real-world assets, providing consistent yields and scalability. It offers a suite of products, including rUSD (a stablecoin), srUSD (a liquid yielding asset), and trUSD (a term-based yielding asset). The protocol's design focuses on less volatile, high-quality assets, offering better and more consistent yields compared to other stablecoin protocols.

Who Are the Founders of Reservoir?

Reservoir was founded by Peter Watts, who serves as the CEO. The team comprises experienced professionals in the blockchain and finance sectors, dedicated to building scalable and efficient stablecoin solutions. Specific details about other team members are not publicly disclosed.
