Skalpy is a professional-grade, mobile-first cryptocurrency scalping terminal designed for high-frequency traders. It aims to provide a high-performance ecosystem for market analysis and rapid trade execution across multiple exchanges. The project's mission is to offer a unified, cross-platform experience that bridges the gap between complex desktop trading setups and the convenience of mobile interfaces, ensuring traders have real-time access to professional tools like Depth of Market (DOM) and advanced screeners anywhere.
How Does Skalpy Work?
Skalpy functions by connecting directly to major cryptocurrency exchanges through secure API integrations. It processes massive amounts of real-time market data to provide a low-latency trading experience. The technology utilizes a 'unified workflow' system where user data, such as watchlists and trading history, is automatically synchronized across web, iOS, and Android platforms. It employs advanced charting engines capable of displaying timeframes as low as 15 seconds, integrated with trading modules that allow users to place orders directly from the chart or DOM.
What Makes Skalpy Unique?
What sets Skalpy apart is its focus on the 'scalper' persona within a mobile-first environment. Unique features include dual cluster charts (Volume and Bid x Ask), a professional-grade Depth of Market (DOM) with liquidity visualization, and a highly customizable real-time trades feed. Unlike standard exchange apps, Skalpy offers 'Precision Charting' and professional account management tools that synchronize instantly across all devices, allowing for a desktop-level analysis on smartphones.
Who Are the Founders of Skalpy?
The founders of Skalpy consist of a team of experienced fintech developers and professional traders who recognized a lack of high-performance scalping tools for mobile devices. While the specific names of the core developers are often represented by the broader 'Skalpy Team' in official documentation to maintain a focus on the product, their background includes extensive expertise in high-frequency trading (HFT) systems, low-latency data streaming, and UI/UX design for financial applications. They operate with a philosophy of iterative, community-driven development.
