Jitter is currently in beta. While the team follows best practices for smart contract development on Sui, users are cautioned that the protocol is in an early stage and should only use funds they are prepared to lose while audits are finalized.

Jitter: Project Guide | Latest Updates, Presale & Airdrop

Q: What is the Purpose of Jitter?

The primary goal of Jitter is to bring yield-trading primitives to the Sui blockchain, allowing users to separate and trade the principal and yield components of their DeFi assets for better risk management.

Q: How Can I Participate in Jitter's Ecosystem?

Users can participate by connecting a Sui-compatible wallet (like Bitget Wallet) to the Jitter.info dApp, depositing yield-bearing assets, and either minting PT/YT or providing liquidity to the markets.

Q: What Sets Jitter Apart from Competitors?

Jitter distinguishes itself by leveraging the Sui Network's object-centric model, which enables high concurrency and faster settlement of yield-stripping transactions compared to EVM-based alternatives.

Q: What are the Risks Associated with Jitter?

Potential risks include smart contract vulnerabilities, oracle data failures, and thin liquidity in the beta markets which can lead to significant slippage during trades.

What is Jitter?

Jitter is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol built on the Sui blockchain that specializes in yield trading. It allows users to manage and trade yield-bearing assets by splitting them into Principal Tokens (PT) and Yield Tokens (YT), enabling fixed-yield strategies or leveraged exposure to future yields.

How Does Jitter Work?

The platform utilizes a tokenization mechanism where interest-bearing assets are deposited into Jitter smart contracts. These assets are then divided into two components: the Principal Token, which represents the underlying capital and matures to its full value, and the Yield Token, which captures all the interest generated by the asset over a specific period. This separation allows users to trade either the base value or the variable yield independently.

What Makes Jitter Unique?

Jitter is unique due to its integration with the Sui ecosystem's high-performance infrastructure, offering low latency and low-cost transactions for yield speculation. It supports innovative features like 'Aggressive' leverage on future yields through Yield Tokens and 'Fixed' income security through Principal Tokens, providing a capital-efficient way for users to hedge or speculate on DeFi interest rates.

Who Are the Founders of Jitter?

The Jitter project is developed by a team of DeFi enthusiasts and engineers focused on the Sui Network. While specific individual names of the founding team are not widely publicized in a traditional corporate format, the project is part of the growing wave of native Sui developers aiming to bring advanced financial primitives like Pendle-style yield stripping to the Move-based ecosystem.

What Key Events Have There Been for Jitter?

Jitter recently launched its beta version on the Sui mainnet, marking a significant milestone in its development. This launch allows early users to interact with yield-trading markets for assets like sSUI. The project has also integrated with local ecosystem protocols like Scallop to source yield and liquidity.

Project Announcements

Recent updates include the successful deployment of smart contracts on Sui Mainnet and the opening of the sSUI yield-trading market. The team has also issued security warnings emphasizing that the protocol is in an early mainnet release and should be used with caution.

Upcoming events

Latest Airdrop

Currently, Jitter is in a beta phase where 'Points' and rewards are experimental. While no official date or specific token amount for a retroactive airdrop has been confirmed, the project hints that early participation and providing liquidity may be criteria for future community incentives.

ICO

There is no public ICO scheduled at this time, as the project is focusing on its beta mainnet adoption and organic liquidity growth.

IDO

Specific details regarding an Initial DEX Offering (IDO) have not been released; however, the project is expected to announce token launch plans via its official social channels following the beta testing period.

TGE

The Token Generation Event (TGE) date for the native Jitter token has not been officially announced. It is currently under development as the team refines the protocol's governance and incentive structures.
