SEALS (Save The Seals) originated from the community's on-chain response to the GoFundMe fundraising campaign of the Dutch Zeehondencentrum Pieterburen. Initiated by an independent developer known as tica, who stated on social media that the transaction fees would be donated. The project has no formal legal team and is positioned as a community-driven experimental charity token. Its core purpose is to connect on-chain transaction fees with fundraising, targeting animal protection supporters and crypto donation participants. It aims to raise funds for seal rescue, research, and education, while testing a small-scale decentralized donation mechanism.
