Bitget Wallet is supporting Ethereum Classic(ETC) with a $15,000 ETC airdrop event

Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) is proud to announce that we have added Ethereum Classic(ETC), high-performance DeFi infrastructure, to the list of supported mainnets. We support the cross-chain Swap of ETC tokens. More than that, we are holding an airdrop event of $15,000 to celebrate this partnership.

During the event, users are expected to create or import an ETC (Ethereum Classic) wallet in Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) and hold at least $100 worth of ETC. A total of 1,000 lucky users will share the $15,000 worth of ETC prize pool together.

Rules:

1. During the event, users need to create or import an ETC (Ethereum Classic) wallet address in their Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) wallet;

2. Hold at least $100 worth of ETC with your Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) ETC address;

3. A single address will be rewarded only once;

4. A total of 1,000 users will be selected randomly to share the $15,000 worth of ETC;

5. Rewards will be distributed within 5 working days after the event ends.

How to participate

1. How to create or import an ETC (Ethereum Classic) wallet address in your Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) wallet?

Users who already have an encrypted wallet can import the previously generated wallet into Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) using private key or mnemonic phrases. Users who have never created a wallet please follow the steps below to create it.

Create a wallet

1) Launch Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) app. Tap Create a New wallet. Read all the tips and check the prompt in the bottom, and tap “I have backed up”;

2) Verify your backup. Tap Confirm, then Enter Pin Code. Please keep the mnemonics properly. It is recommended to use a notebook to write down the mnemonics and put it away;Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) does not store your mnemonics on its server. Once the mnemonics get lost, you won’t be able to recover your assets, and Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) cannot help you recover your wallet.

3) Add BSC into your Mainnet list and tap Confirm. Now you are ready to try out Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep).

Import a wallet

You are going to need your private key or mnemonics to import a wallet. Do not copy it to the clipboard or there will be leaking risks. You’d better write the words down on a piece of paper and then input them manually. Here’s a step-by-step instruction: Launch Bitkeep. Choose “Import an existing wallet”. Input your mnemonics or private key, then input your wallet password;

2.How to Add Ethereum Classic(ETC) in Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep)

1. Launch Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) app. Tap ALL in the upper right corner to enter the mainnet selection interface.Tap Add Mainnet, select Ethereum Classic(ETC) and tap OK;

2. Enter wallet password, then return to the wallet page. You are done with the addition.Go back to the wallet home page and select ALL to view all the mainnets that have been added.

Tap ETC to enter its detail page, and tap “Receive” to copy the address for receiving.

3. How to buy ETC with Bitget Wallet (Previously BitKeep) Swap?

1:

1) Tap the plus sign to add the token: search for ETC ,and enter your password, then tap the token you want to swap;

2)On the ETC page, tap “Swap” to jump to the Swap interface,select the token pair and enter an amount;

3) Now tap Confirm and enter your password.

If you want to check out the transaction record, just return to the Swap page, and tap the History icon.

2:

1) Go to Swap, and go to the “Swap” interface, choose the trade pair as you like;

2) Enter the amount, then tap “Confirm” and enter your password.

You can tap the record icon to check out your transaction records and the progress of the last transaction.
